Todays 50 lb bow shoots faster than yesterdays 70 lb bow. I absolutely blew through everything I shot when shooting 70 lbs, 30 years ago. Back then my 70 lb bow shot a blistering 217 FPS with a 2216 xx75 and a 125 grain broadhead.
