Raids: Are You Ready to Rumble (and Maybe Rage Quit)?
So, you’re interested in raids? Whether you play Destiny 2, want to be a pirate in Blox Fruits, or are new to online games, raids test your skills. They are like final exams after grinding. Instead of grades, you earn bragging rights and loot (if luck is on your side).
Leviathan Raid: Destiny 2’s Gone but Not Forgotten Behemoth
Let’s start with the Leviathan raid in Destiny 2. It was hard. Picture herding six hyper cats while solving a Rubik’s Cube without seeing. Coordination and strategy were crucial. You must have a pre-made fireteam of six. Playing with randoms is risky.
- Difficulty: It’s hard. You had to be at the top of your game. Your team needed the same.
- Team Size: A minimum of six guardians were required. A seventh? No way.
- Power Level: You needed a power level of 280 to enter Calus’s lavish palace.
- Mechanics: The mechanics were a puzzle box. Each encounter needed teamwork. Communication issues meant a wipe. You get it.
- The Boss: Emperor Calus, the most extravagant villain, was on his throne. The fight began when you shot the chalice from his hand. Then waves of Cabal and his “Emperor’s Gaze” laser attacked. Avoid the laser.
- Availability: Sadly, the Leviathan is vaulted. It’s no longer accessible due to content vaulting in 2020. RIP, Leviathan.
Soloing Raids & Dungeons: For the Lone Wolves (and the Insane)
Now, let’s discuss soloing raids. They are made for teams. Still, some brave Guardians test their skills alone. Spoiler alert: it’s possible, but expect pain.
- Raids Solo? Can you solo a raid in Destiny 2? The answer is “sort of, sometimes, and with effort.”
- Vault of Glass: Newbie Friendly? If you want to try soloing, the Vault of Glass is the community’s favorite choice. Easiest is subjective. It still hurts.
- Root of Nightmares: Flawless Solo? Then there’s Xemo, who soloed Root of Nightmares perfectly. No deaths. While many struggle, some solo raids effortlessly.
- Dungeons: Soloable Sanity Tests? Dungeons tend to be soloable or duoable. They are like raiding for beginners but can be challenging.
- Vesper’s Host: Dungeon of Despair? Vesper’s Host is tough. Some call it raid-level difficult. The “Corrupted Puppeteer” encounter is brutal with unforgiving mechanics. Soloing it is “full of challenges.”
- Warlord’s Ruin: Cover? What’s Cover? Warlord’s Ruin is another hard solo dungeon. It has many enemies and little cover. Expect lots of dodging.
- Pantheon: Soloable Mountain? The Pantheon gauntlet seems doable solo, but the Solo Pantheon Caretaker poses a serious challenge. Raid mods don’t work there.
- Solo Class Supremacy: Warlock? If you play solo, Warlock is recommended. They feature self-healing and crowd control with Stasis.
Leviathan in Blox Fruits: Sea Beast Showdown
Did someone mention Leviathan? Destiny 2 isn’t the only game with a big Leviathan. Blox Fruits has one too.
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work (or Summons the Beast): You can’t just show up to summon the Blox Fruits Leviathan. Gather at least five players.
- Solo Spawning? Nope: Solo summoning isn’t an option. Bring your crew. Go to the Frozen Watcher and ensure you’re set.
- Spy Bribe: Information Ain’t Free: Want to find the Leviathan? Bribe a spy with Fragments—around 6,000 should suffice.
- Cooldowns? No Problem (for Spawning, Anyway): If a group member is on cooldown, it doesn’t affect the rest. Just keep bribing.
- Boat Savvy: Mask Up and Hold On: Driving during the Leviathan fight is stressful. Give the driver a Kitsune Mask for navigation help.
- Leviathan Heart: Grab It Quick!: Defeated the Leviathan? Great! Snag the heart quickly. Otherwise, it will despawn.
Raids in General: A Gamer’s Rite of Passage
No matter the setting, whether in Destiny 2 or Blox Fruits, raids are crucial. They test skills, patience, and friendships.
- Are Raids Hard? Yes, definitely. They are made to challenge players, requiring teamwork and luck.
- How Many People? Team size varies by game, but raids often need teams. Six for Destiny 2’s Leviathan; five for Blox Fruits’ Leviathan summon.
- Solo Raids: Software UI Battles? Soloing a raid isn’t about the world but about battling mechanics. Think of it as an exercise in timing your damage.
Whether you raid with friends or try soloing, enjoy yourself. Remember to have some stress relief nearby. You may need it.
