In the aftermath, the assassin Kronya, disguised as a student named Monica von Ochs, stabs and mortally wounds him. Byleth attempts to use Divine Pulse to save him, but is sabotaged by Kronya and Solon’s master Thales, and Jeralt dies in their arms.
