How is Slime Used for Character Enhancements in Genshin Impact?

In Genshin Impact, **Slime Secretions** play a crucial role as a Character and Weapon Enhancement Material. They are dropped by players defeating **Lv. 40+ Slimes**. Specifically, **8 Characters** utilize Slime Secretions for ascending their talents, while **22 Weapons** also depend on them for ascension.

Moreover, there are other slime materials integral to enhancement processes. These include:

  • Slime Condensate – A One Star Character and Weapon Enhancement Material. It features a thick coating found on slimes.
  • Slime Secretions – A crucial enhancement material for various characters like Arataki Itto, Zhongli, and Yaoyao.
  • Slime Concentrate – A Three Star Character and Weapon Enhancement Material crafted using **Slime Secretions ×3** and **Mora ×50**.

For character enhancements, the characters that leverage the various slime materials include:

In Genshin Impact, you can encounter various types of slimes. These slimes differ in elements and sizes, making them notable enemies to engage with throughout Teyvat.

Types of Slimes:

  • Anemo Slimes
  • Large Anemo Slime
  • Cryo Slimes
  • Large Cryo Slime
  • Dendro Slimes
  • Large Dendro Slime
  • Electro Slimes
  • Large Electro Slime
  • Mutant Electro Slime
  • Geo Slimes
  • Large Geo Slime
  • Hydro Slimes
  • Large Hydro Slime
  • Pyro Slimes
  • Large Pyro Slime

There are two main sizes of slimes: Normal and Large. Furthermore, the Electro element features a unique type known as the Mutant Electro Slime, which generates sparks and passes them through other Electro slimes.

Locations of Slimes:

Slime locations can be pinpointed on the map using the Adventurer Handbook. Below are the common locale for each type:

  • Pyro Slimes: Near Flaming Flowers
  • Cryo Slimes: Near Mist Flowers
  • Hydro Slimes: In shallow waters
  • Anemo Slimes: Near Dandelions
  • Electro Slimes: Near Electro Crystals
  • Geo Slimes: Near ore deposits
  • Dendro Slimes: In grassy fields

Slimes can be found in all regions of Teyvat, dropping the same materials across various locales. Players can employ the interactive world map to find absolute locations of all slime types.

Best Farming Routes in Mondstadt:

  • Starting from the peak of the Petrel, locate three spawn locations for slimes: Anemo, Pyro, and Geo.
  • At Starfall Lake, find two slime spawn locations: Geo, Cryo, and Pyro.
  • Falcon Coast harbors five slime spawn locations: Electro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo.

To encourage the spawn of Anemo Slimes, players should walk closer to the Flaming Flower. For Electro Slimes to appear, approach the nearby Electro Crystals. After using the nearest Teleport Point, head west to encounter four Cryo Slimes.

In summary, slimes are common enemies across Teyvat, classified into elemental types and varying sizes, contributing to the diverse combat experience within Genshin Impact.

Can Slime Condensate be Used for Crafting in Genshin Impact?

Slime Condensate is a versatile material that you will need for various things throughout Genshin Impact. Therefore, it’s a good idea to always have some with you or to regularly farm Slimes to keep a reserve in your inventory.

There are two items you can craft with Slime Condensate:

  • 10 False Worm Bait: 1 Slime Condensate + 1 Berry
  • Slime Secretions: 3 Slime Condensate + 25 Mora

Additionally, several characters in Genshin Impact use Slime Condensate as a material to level their talents and for their Ascensions. The characters include Itto, Lisa, Venti, Xiangling, Xiao, and Zhongli. Slime Condensate is most often used to ascend various weapons in the game.

Moreover, Slime Condensate is a common crafting and upgrade material. It can drop randomly from Slimes you kill in the game world. Since it is one of the seemingly endless pile of crafting materials, it’s essential to collect it regularly.

Furthermore, Slime Condensate is necessary for engaging in character Ascensions, alongside other resources like Glaze Lily. It is also used in some crafting and elemental recipes, specifically for upgrading a variety of weapons.

In many cases, you need to upgrade Slime Condensate to a Slime Secretion to use it in crafting and Ascensions. You can achieve this through Alchemy. After turning the Slime into Secretions, you can use them for the following Weapon Ascensions:

  • Amos’ Bow
  • Favonius Lance
  • Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
  • Magic Guide
