How Accurate is the Genshin Impact Wish Simulator?

An unofficial fan-made wish simulator for Genshin Impact provides a highly accurate experience. You can download the most accurate wishing simulator here! The features include:

  • True to in-game gacha rates, including pity and soft pity.
  • Simulation across 1,000,000 wishes: 1.600% for 5-star, 13.025% for 4-star.
  • Always up-to-date with banners, including all previous character and weapon banners.

This app does not contain any forced ads; rather, ads are all on an opt-in basis. Users have found this app amazing, as the pain of not being able to pull often is greatly alleviated by simulating pulls.

Generally speaking, the simulator impersonates Genshin Impact’s wish framework well. Users report that it looks extremely reasonable, allowing them to test their luck once in a while.

You can simulate Genshin Impact wishes online using free simulators. These wish simulators let you roll for new characters and weapons without spending real money, including animations directly from the game. However, it’s important to note that Genshin Impact wish simulators aren’t affiliated with the actual game, meaning you can’t carry your rewards over.

Among the popular options is WishSimulator.App, which is highly regarded for a good reason. It stays updated with the latest banner events, allows you to realistically ‘buy’ and convert different Genshin currencies, and features animations taken straight from the game. Additionally, it uses the same ‘pity system’ as Genshin, enhancing your chances of earning a rare item or character the longer you go without one.

Another fantastic option is Saihou’s Wish Simulator for Genshin, an Android app that is entirely free with no ads. It combines the best parts of other simulators, though its sole downside is being available only on Android. Like WishSimulator.App, it includes realistic pity rates and animations from the game.

Uzair Ashraf’s GI Wish Simulator is a basic simulator developed by a single programmer. It offers unlimited Fates, hence an unlimited number of wishes. However, this simulator is outdated, with the latest Event Wish being from 2021, and no plans for updates in sight.

A Genshin Impact wish simulator is considered highly accurate in replicating in-game gacha pull rates. Thus, it provides a realistic representation of your chances of getting specific characters or weapons when pulling on a banner, as it uses the same probability calculations as the actual game, including pity and soft pity systems. Nevertheless, remember that it’s still a simulation, and individual results may vary based on randomness.

Most reputable simulators use the exact same pull rates for 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star items as the live game, accurately simulating the pity system where your chances of winning a high-tier item increase significantly after a certain number of pulls.

While it’s not 100% accurate, the Wish Simulator for Genshin Impact provides users with a good idea of what to expect when making actual wishes in the game. It also includes a Details tab that explains pull rates and probabilities.

Understanding the Mechanics Behind Wish Simulation

Understanding Wish Simulation in Genshin Impact

Wishes are the gacha system in Genshin Impact. There are two main types of Wishes:

  • The permanent Standard Wish, Wanderlust Invocation
  • Limited-time Event Wishes for Characters and Weapons.

Players can unlock wishes after completing the Archon Quest Knights of Favonius in Prologue: Act I – The Outlander Who Caught the Wind, which players can reach at around Adventure Rank 5.

Limited-time Event Wishes are further divided:

  • One for characters
  • One for weapons

As the name implies, these are only available for a limited time. Event Wishes require Intertwined Fates instead of Acquaint Fates.

Event Wishes have their own specifics:

  • Character Event Wishes feature one promotional 5★ character and three featured 4★ characters.
  • Weapon Event Wishes include two promotional 5★ weapons and five 4★ featured weapons.

Moreover, players benefit from certain guarantees:

  • 4★ drop guarantee: If a player does not obtain any 4★ (or above) item within 9 wishes in a row, the 10th wish is guaranteed to be a 4★ (or higher) item. This counter resets if a player obtains any 4★ item.
  • Featured 4★ character guarantee: Every time a player obtains a 4★ item, there is a 50% chance it will be one of the featured 4★ characters.

Wish Simulators provide a useful experience:

  • They run simulations identical to pulling Banners and Wishes in the real game, creating a gacha experience akin to Genshin Impact.
  • They follow the same drop rates, ensuring an accurate simulation.
  • Most simulators allow access to past game version Banners for simulating older and unavailable Wishes.

Furthermore, Wish Simulators not only satisfy the gacha itch but also act as indicators of real-world gacha mechanics:

  • They provide additional information about received items, the specific Banner, ‘Pity’ count, and total money spent on a particular Wish type.
  • This information is especially useful when trying to acquire a specific character.

Using Genshin Wish Simulators can help mitigate real-world spending and offer insights into the gacha mechanics. Players can emulate the number of attempts needed to get their desired character. This addresses an intrinsic problem with gacha games, allowing players to quantify the spending or Primogems required.

In addition, players are guaranteed at least one 4-star or higher character every 10 wishes. However, 5-star event-exclusive characters can only be obtained during the specified wish time period.

It’s noteworthy that a missing factor may influence the game experience. The Genshin Impact community has compiled statistics from actual player wishes, suggesting the presence of a ‘soft pity’ that occurs well before the guarantee on the 90th pull, referred to as ‘hard pity.’

Comparing Genshin Impact Wish Simulators: Which One is Best?

Comparative Overview of Genshin Impact Wish Simulators

There are several fan-made Genshin Impact Wish Simulators available. They allow players to wish on banners without using Intertwined Fates and Acquaint Fates. However, it’s important to note that these simulators are not affiliated with HoYoverse, meaning any characters you ‘win’ will not be added to your real account. Players can use them just for fun or to gauge how many Primogems they need for specific characters or items.

  • WishSimulator.App:
    • Considered the best Wish Simulator as it features the current banners in Genshin Impact.
    • The interface is a direct copy of the game, complete with background music and official banner animations.
    • It uses a Pity system that closely mirrors the actual game, making pulls nearly identical to real gameplay.
    • Players can adjust settings such as music, banners, and animations.
    • The app operates smoothly on both mobile and Windows.
    • The only downside is that it is available only on Android and contains ads.
  • Uzair Ashraf’s Wish Simulator:
    • Allows users to track the number of Fates used for a specific banner, which indicates when the next 5-star pull may occur.
    • Users can choose from all of the game’s current banners to target specific characters.
    • Provides insight into the cost associated with accumulating inventory, helping users estimate real money expenditure for Primogems.
  • Miwoju’s Genshin Wish Simulator:
    • A more basic simulator that allows for Infinite Wishes, giving a sense of having unlimited Fates without real money.
    • The banners are not currently updated to reflect the newest Sumeru update.
    • Still serves as a decent option if the more sophisticated simulators do not appeal to you.
  • Silly Wisher:
    • Functions similarly to the aforementioned simulators, allowing for the simulation of in-game Wishes.
    • Includes a History function to show all user pulls and is available for both iOS and Android.
    • Users can mix 2-4 characters to create mutations for a more personalized gameplay experience.

Overall, each simulator has its own unique features and downsides. Therefore, players may choose based on their preferences for ease of use, available features, or the specific devices they own.
