When the Lawachurl performs Upa Shato, the player should either avoid dodging towards the back of the Lawachurl or prepare for a follow-up attack in the form of Surprise Dash if the Lawachurl uses Thunder Berserker.

Another way to beat it is to quickly deplete the geo shield using Noelle’s burst.
Defeating them requires players to be fully prepared as the Lawachurls arm themselves with an elemental shield. A broken shield will weaken them.
