To max out the Statue of the Seven, you will need many Geoculus. Specifically, for levels:
- Level 5 to 6: 14 Geoculus (Total: 40)
- Level 6 to 7: 16 Geoculus (Total: 56)
- Level 7 to 8: 20 Geoculus (Total: 76)
Overall, you will find 131 Geoculus in Liyue. You do not need all of them. However, you want to gather as many as you can.
What’s the Payoff for Being a Geoculus Hunter?
What do you gain for collecting them? Of course, the achievement of gathering them. You also earn tangible rewards. Offering Geoculus boosts your stamina cap. More stamina helps you glide, climb, and run longer before needing rest. You also earn a Stone of Remembrance.

You can craft your own Geoculus Resonance Stone. First, gather some materials and increase your reputation in Liyue.
- Crafting Requirements: Gather 5 Cor Lapis and 5 Glaze Lilies. Both are unique to Liyue.
- Liyue Reputation Level 2: Reach Reputation Level 2 to unlock the recipe for the Resonance Stone. Talk to Ms. Yu in Liyue Harbor about your reputation.
Once you have the recipe and materials, invite yourself to an alchemy table and craft away! It is one-time use, but valuable for that last few Geoculus.
How to Actually Use the Geoculus Locator
You crafted your Resonance Stone, now what? It is simple.
- Equip it: Open your inventory, go to the “Gadget” tab, and equip the Geoculus Resonance Stone.
- Activate it: In the open world, press “Z” (or your gadget button). Your map displays a highlighted area for search. Time to start!
Oops, Need to Cancel the Search?
If you activated a Resonance Stone in the wrong area or want to search for Anemoculus, you can cancel.
- Anemoculus Resonance Stone to the Rescue: To cancel a Geoculus Resonance Stone’s effect, use an Anemoculus Resonance Stone. Using one cancels the other. It’s a roundabout but functional method.

The “Will of Stone” is a World Quest in Qingce Village. While not directly linked to Geoculus, it encourages exploring this beautiful region and may lead to discovering some.
Nine Pillars of Peace Quest: Pillar Puzzle Palooza
This quest requires attention since it’s where Stones of Remembrance shine.
- Opening the Pillars:
- Find the Nine Pillars in Cuijue Slope.
- Interact with the stone to start the quest.
- Collect nine Stones by leveling up the Statues (Geoculus time!).
- Climb each pillar and insert a Stone into the glowing panel.
- Pillar Location: The Nine Pillars are around Cuijue Slope. Easy to find—they are pillars.
- Get a “Dull Ring.” You can sell this ring to Bolai or Linlang. Who will you pick?
- Bolai vs. Linlang: The Great Ring-Selling Dilemma:
- Bolai: Offers 180,000 Mora and 5 Adeptus’ Temptation.
- Linlang: Offers 200,000 Mora.
Linlang gives more Mora. Bolai provides some cooking buffs. The choice is yours, smart trader.
